Nine Local Auto Repair
Facilities Raise Over $18,000 to Benefit Berea Children’s Home and Family
Services!
June
2010 - Berea, Ohio
– During the month of May, nine local auto repair facilities in the
Great Lakes Auto Leader Dealership Group
serving Cuyahoga and Summit Counties, offered free brakes, pads or shoes with
any brake repair service, and donated 10% of their proceeds to Berea Children’s
Home and Family Services.
The Great
Lakes Auto Leader Dealership Group, who,
in
conjunction with Advanced Auto Group and Luna Marketing, raised over
$18,000 for Berea
Children’s Home and Family Services, a non-profit, social service agency that
provides mental health, behavioral health and community transformation services
statewide. Annually, the organization serves over 10,000 children, adults, and
families, 90% of which live below the poverty level.
“We chose
Berea Children's Home and Family Services because they serve families in all of
our communities,” said Dave Justice, owner of Parkway Auto Care and
Strongsville Express Tire.
“We embrace the agency’s emphasis on teaching life skills to their clients and
believe that our donations will last a lifetime in the lives of the children and
families that will receive services through the agency. Our group is very
conscious of the economic hardships people are facing in our own backyards and
we want to do anything we can to help.”
